FAQ

  • How much of my donation goes towards the scholarships?

100% of donations go towards students furthering their goals in the pursuit of eliminating pain. We partnered with Donorbox and Stripe to facilitate processing fees and that is our only expense from donations. The Wildcat Angle Fund pays $0 in administrative pay and 100% of costs outside of bank transfers are paid for by our founder.

  • Are scholarships the only avenue being pursued?

In short, no. The Wildcat Angel Fund in it’s infancy is starting with scholarships, but our plans are much more broad. We truly want to help eliminate the barrier that money can cause when people of purpose want to pursue their passions of helping those most deserving. Scholarships are the first step we are taking this mission.

  • Are our donations tax deductable?

The Wildcat Angel Fund is a nonprofit organization recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charity. Your donations are tax deductible. Please consult with a financial advisor with your receipts on on how to move forward.

  • I would like my family member remembered. How can I add them to the list?

When you make a donation to the Wildcat Angel Fund you have the option to do so in honor of a family member. Once you make a donation and have someone listed, their name will be added to that page by months end. Also, all recipients of the scholarship will receive a Letter of Honor, listing those names. We want these recipients to understand that their is true meaning to what they are doing to help one day keep as many names off this list as possible.

  • How did this charity start?

We lost a dear friend of ours, Kyahn White. And it seemed that our community continued to lose one great soul after another. Well, we wanted to put our energies into an effort to combat this and help get in front of the next preventable loss. The Wildcat Angel Fund hope to impact their local community with funds to make corrective change in suicide prevention, mental health, and substance abuse.
